 Rev-up4DSI 2010

5th Anniversary

Looking back to 2005 when the first seeds of Rev-up4DSI were sown there was no way we could have envisaged how big and successful the event would become, that is all down to you guys and girls who have participated or who have sponsored a rider on the event, your endeavours on behalf of DSI and its members is truly inspiring!

Collectively, the event has covered in excess of 650,000 kilometres (thats 18 times around the Earth!!) , raising in excess of €975,000 in much needed funds for DSI.

With the 2010 event being the fifth Anniversary we  contacted all past participants to allow them take part in what promised to be a very special weekend of biking, all whilst supporting such a worthy cause and what a weekend it turned out to be! High miles and big smiles were the order of the day as DSI took over the North West for the May Bank Holiday weekend.

A more in depth review of this year’s event is available in the reviews link and there are loads of photo’s too to remind all who were there of the great weekend it was and also to give those that weren’t an insight!

We are currently working on hotels and routes for Rev-up4DSI 2011 so if you wish to be added to our email list please drop us a line at aidan@downsyndrome.ie or by calling 01 4266525.

Have a great summer and look forward to seeing you all real soon.
